  • World Bible School

World Bible School will help you understand the Bible.

The Farmersville church of Christ delighted to be associated with the World Bible School where you can learn at your own pace.  Learning from the Bible should be enjoyable, not a burden. There are no time limits and no schedules, so feel free to take the courses as you have time. Learn on the website, by email, or through postal mail.

Every week, thousands of people use the World Bible School website to learn from God's word. These people come from nearly every country on earth. The Bible was written for every person in every culture.

  • World Video Bible School

The WVBS Online Bible School is designed to provide students with an online, comprehensive, in-depth study of the Bible. The lessons are pure non-denominational teaching based on an accurate "drawing out" of what the Bible teaches, not reading into the text what someone might think it teaches. The courses cover every book in the Bible, plus four additional subjects which help you in your understanding of the scriptures (Christian Evidences, Hermeneutics, Greek and The Bible from God to Us). The school is designed for anyone who wants a focused, organized and thorough study of the Bible.

  • Gospel Broadcasting Network

The Gospel Broadcasting Network aims to bring truth and hope into places where brethren are threatened by proving sound bible teaching. At GBN, it's our passion & mission to reach every soul with the truth of the Gospel & the message of salvation!

  • Apologetics Press

For more than 30 years Apologetics Press has published and disseminated materials for self study, group study, or evangelistic purposes. Topics range from evidences supporting the Christian Faith to highly controversial areas that challenge that Faith.

  • Polishing the Pulpit

Polishing the Pulpit began with three friends getting together to brainstorm sermon ideas. We soon invited other friends, and someone said, “This is great! We should tell others.”

We did and invited a speaker to discuss sermon preparation and give sample sermons. Interest increased; more speakers were invited. We moved to a hotel conference area. We dreamed big. “Let’s invite the best speakers in the brotherhood and see who we can get.” They came. Wives wanted in, so we added women’s classes. While these great speakers were assembled in one place, we decided to offer classes for elders. They loved it. People began coming from all over the country.

Youth workers and deacons became interested. We added tracks for them. PTP moved to a larger event center in the Smoky Mountains. Attendance approached 1,000. Christians from other nations began coming.

“Why don’t you have classes for regular members?” we were asked. So we added the Spiritual Renewal Weekend, as well as tracks for members, teens, and children. Attendance passed 5,000.

That brings us to today. What does God have in store for PTP? Come and see!
